Efforts to date:

No adoption decree could be located—neither through private channels nor in the archives of family courts, regional courts, youth welfare offices, the Civil Registry Office (Standesamt I), churches, social welfare organizations, or other institutions.

Despite extensive research (passenger lists for Bremen/Hamburg–Accra routes, airlines, inquiries with population registries, archives in Accra, the German Embassy in Accra, the Wuppertal Youth Welfare Office, Catholic social welfare organizations/Caritas, etc.), all inquiries have so far been unsuccessful.
